About This Trip

This premium tour will start with a search for Aplomado Falcons in the coastal prairie, before we ‘set sail’ from Port Isabel. Captains Scarlett and George Colley will be our guides to the island bays where the “Mangrove” Yellow Warbler nests, alongside shorebirds, herons, and terns including Red Knot, American Oystercatcher and Reddish Egret. Look for Bottlenose dolphin off the bow! Then we will drive to South Padre Island to picnic and look for seasonal migrants and coastal specialties.
