Laguna Atascosa, along the shores of the Laguna Madre, has the highest bird species total of any National Wildlife Refuge in the country, in addition to being a sanctuary for the USA’s largest remaining population of protected ocelot. We will have the privilege of a special tour to limited access refuge tracts and get to explore places not currently open to the public. Reddish Egret, White-tailed Hawk, Seaside Sparrow and so much more!
